Simple and easy ways to be nice to myself
I like being nice to myself, because I have this choice and it makes me feel good, and because this is normal, natural and desired.
And every day, I am purposely finding simple and easy ways to be nice to myself, like eating an apple or drinking a glass of water, or calling my husband asking how his day is going or cutting fresh roses from the front yard. And I mentally re-affirm ‘I love being nice to myself’ every time I catch myself in the act of doing so — and it makes me feel good, because being nice to myself is normal, natural and desired, and on the level of my being I already am.
