But before I decide to skip this stupid meditation at the Temple and return
to my room to attack my husband with all of these accusations, his face appears
in my mind’s eye, and it’s as if some part of me that is viewing him through the
eyes of a higher perspective emerges. Stepping onto the pedestal of my power,
She redirects my focus from what he is not doing to what he is doing…
And now, walking in the night, I can feel his arms embracing me
gently, lips whispering tenderly, as if he is right here by my side, sharing this
journey. I open my arms wide, inhaling deeply, walking home into his love, accepting
him just the way he is. And I release a breath of realization that maybe
self-digging and spiritual chasing is my curse, but not his. And that’s okay.
